Procedure enrolling students who are 4 years or older
1. Make an appointment for an information meeting and a tour

Procedure enrolling students who go to the primary school for the first time

2. Enrolling your child via https://naardebasisschool.utrecht.nl.
Recently a central application system was introduced in Utrecht. In the quarter that your child turns three you can enrol your child at our school by using the form on: https://naardebasisschool.utrecht.nl. It is important that you register your child before the end of that quarter (see table). It does not matter whether you register your child earlier or later in the quarter.

The school of your first preference should be placed at number 1. The school of your second preference at number 2 and so on. Are you registering a brother or sister? Then one preference is sufficient.
3. Additional information
At the end of the quarter you will receive an offer for a place from the municipality. It is important that you confirm this place to us within the specified period. If you confirm the place for your child we will ask you for additional information about your child.
4. Admission
The head of school will then make the decision on admission as soon as possible but no later than 6 weeks after your written application. You will receive a written confirmation (via email) about your child's admission.
On the site https://naardebasisschool.utrecht.nl you will find more information about the application system. Unfortunately this website is not available in English yet. If you have difficulties enrolling your child because of language issues, we would be happy to help.
